They are basically saying the brand will say the jumper/carpet whatever, was made with wool from Seeker Farm, Somerset.

Great idea. However I would say they are getting off on the wrong foot by saying we will use your details unless you ask us not to, it should be the other way round. Any scheme like this needs producer buy in, not a feeling that they have been coerced.

I agree partially, although we use the board to market our Wool to the best of their ability....... can of worms opened 😋

i dunno , do you think anyone gives a monkey where the wool from there suit coms from ? like buying a can of oil and getting the rig location on the tub, this half of the rug was made by farmer joe this but was by mr green? tbh its a nice little touch by the wool board adding to there credibility but unless they start paying me 5 £5.00 a fleece why bother

Seems the wool board can't win.
Most people think that They don't market the wool well
But if they try a new approach it's a waste of time?

Give them a chance? And credit for exploring new ideas?
People like to buy a story so it may add some value

Personally I think your£5/fleece is too low to cover COP
