£8K.? After I'd have to do a few little things, speedo drive cable snapped, one levelling ram leaks, and needs a half glass for the rear window. And a new battery! on the excavator!

They look to be doing a good job.
Just as a matter of interest, do you always plough with them or are they the only tractors that can do the job this year?

A great picture showing two classic Track Marshalls doing a good job of ploughing plus a venerable old 'Grey Fergie' still earning it's keep spoiled only by what's hung behind that tractor i.e. the 'remnants' of one of the worst abortions ever to have been inflicted on farmers by Massey Ferguson... The MF19 manure spreader!. (The chair on that spreader reminds me the times I have had to sit down for a rest after having to empty one of those sods out with a muck fork because the bed chain had broken yet again!)

I think we are keeping it for the moment .we were thinking of selling both and buying a 155 .but I have a driver on the 120 and I'm driving the 90 so we are getting on better with 2 small ones than 1 big one

I normally plough with tractors when its dry and only use the crawlers when its wet.this year the tractors cant do anything I have a mf 6499 and a mf 8260 parked in the shed with nothing to do

the fergy is used all year on small jobs the old spreader has an oil barrel coupled to sprayer pump for fuel and plenty of space for tools

Would anyone have more info than I can find on the track marshall britannia? I have one left to me by my father but has seen better times, with a bit of work I know the engine would run but bit of work to deal with otherwise, I understand there were very few made?

Great memories of 75's, 90's and 120's working on the strong land farms round here

Pity they had to make the135 - that's when it all started to go wrong

The old Britannia Works where they were made is a fudging shopping centre now

I remember a contractor saying he ran those and Cats together. Reliability wise there was no contest, The Cats just kept plodding along whilst The TMs were in bits.

Where IH once were on Wheatley Hall Road Doncaster is now a shopping centre too.

We used to run a pair of them.this one was used as a parts doner. It makes a handy fuel bowser trailer with a tool box and passenger seat

We had 2 also. My dad used to say "Don't put any more than a turd and a half in them or you will break the bed chain!" Heck one broke on me while it was EMPTY. (At least i didn't have to muck it all out by hand for once) We did both of them up, new sprockets, bed chains beaters etc. and they were still just as bad! Bloody awful things. We retired them both and bought a big SKH which was bloody fantastic!
