You don't hang about!
Took us best part of 20 years to fix the track. Give it a few more generations..... we might get around to thinking about maybe starting some work
All the machinery service up, ready to drill spring barley when the land drys up, so mite as well get on with this project while im at a loose end, plus want it finish before the flys come out in force just when im painting it.

what state is the running gear ?
there a track marshall parked up next door , i'm sure it has pto , but no pump fitted like urs , that ones a angle blade , manual .

Running gear on mine is very good, track adjuster were a bugger to free off, wanted the tracks off before i blast it but the master pins wont move so they will have to stop on.
Fitting a re-surfaced clutch brake and clutch due to the oil in the bell housing as seen in the picture

I seem to recall The Perkins 4/270 as used in The Claas Matador Standard shared a lot of parts with the earlier L4. (Injectors and Injector pump certainly not, as the L4 was indirect injection with an inline pump and The 4/270 was direct injection with a rotary pump) There must be lots of scrap L4 engines about out of MF 780, 788 and Claas SF combines.
