Was thinking of taking on a bit of extra work . I have a case puma 165 which also has a loader on . Makes mucking out yards a quick job . No idea what an hourly rate would be .
Vary depending on job type I presume . Also have a vicon rv5216 baler . What are people charging for baling ?

Factor in delay in payments.

We have done some work for contractors to help out.
Still waiting for payment months later!

Go to your local dealer and ask him to quote you to change the tractor for a new one, work out the £per hr to swap add labour then add a average fuel per hr cost

Yes

is was more meaning you’d be surprised at the cost already without adding more expense and then asking a farmer to pay you £45 ahr
tell him to buy his own tractor and pay a man to sit on it. mind theres loads of bums on seats around here living the dream .

Hold on a minute, it's a virtual chasm between a bloke you know down the pub who turns up in a little grey for 3 hours to rotovate your cabbage patch and someone turning up in a Case and loader. I mean I'd be willing to pay more for a Valtra, example. (y)
