Tractor auto steer

I got a quote for a trimble pro pilot system like has been discussed a few weeks ago. 6200 fitted and 250 a year for range point. Ment to be + - 6 inch but I know people using it and they say in action it is much more accurate and can sow no problem. If you want centrepoint which is as near to as u can get its approx 9k and 900 a year subscription. Its possible to get rangepoint and up grade to centrepoint at a later date. If you want to move it between tractors it's about 1500 per machine to have them wired and the brackets fitted so you can transfer the antenna, screen and wheel to whatever machine u want. The lad I spoke to said they are quite popular on combines. Use it spring summer on the tractor and harvest on the combine to get the good of the investment

Thinking of fitting autosteer on my tractor help out with potato bouting and drilling what would be the best system to retrofit on my tractor any suggestions . And what sort of cost

We like Centerpoint RTK. It’s about £650/yr for the license. We’ve had a tractor in tiffing for a local potato grower this spring and it’s performed immaculately. It’s always been fine for our cereal work but with root crop beds you need to be bang on, which it’s been. Even the headland curves are spot on. It will loose signal if you stop under trees but doesn’t seem to if your just doing a turn.
