Tractor driving test.

Location
Shropshire
Hello folks, I am 17, currently at college doing Agricultural Engineering and I would like to do my Tractor driving test soon.
I have found out that you can do a tractor test on regular car license however I have one massive problem.

I do not live on a farm or have any relatives who farm but I need to have the license for where I am going to work.

So, I don't have a tractor I could use at will, but i was hoping any of you could point me in the right direction for finding a way to get a tractor to do the test with.
I am still living with my parents, and cant get a tractor in my garden or out front of my house but equally I don't want to leave it 10 years or so until I get my own house.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Your car license will include cat f which covers tractors anyhow. If you’re at college the test you need to do is a certificate of competency in tractor driving which colleges usually offer. This covers pre start checks, maintenance, trailed and mounted attachments etc.

As has been said, your normal, bog standard car license will include a Cat F entitlement.

Below is direct off the government website.

Driving licence requirements
If you pass a regular car driving test (category B) you’ll get entitlement to drive:
  • agricultural tractors (category F)
  • mowing machines or pedestrian-controlled vehicles (category K)
For all other categories you need the correct full licence to drive the tractor or special vehicle on the road.
To get this you first need to get the right provisional driving licence entitlement and then pass a tractor or specialist vehicle driving test.
Exemptions
You don’t need a licence to drive or operate:
You do need a driving licence to drive quad bikes on the road.
