Any recommendations for Tractor hire round Oxfordshire? Do not want to look too far as transport soon knackers the price. Looking for a basic 150Hp tractor for 2/3 weeks in September.

Thanks. Tried SW, slightly more than our local dealer + delivery on top. Now might be looking to get someone in to do a job rather than hire the tractor.

I suspect there are a lot of dealers with newish used tractors sat in yards who would be glad to get a few weeks hire. I know one local farmer who hired a couple from local dealer for a month for spring work. That would be my first port of call, the interest they are paying on every £100k tractor means their stock cost is going up while their value is going down. I suspect we will see some casualties certainly in terms of branches if not companies

Yes spoken to them, and actually they are the cheapest as being on their doorstep there is no delivery. Had weekend off and so will price up someone doing the job as in my head it is not working out to be too much more £!
