Tractor on Motorway cops tonight Channel 5

Anyone else catch this? The usual “load not netted” and no number plate on trailer. It was a fair load but it was going nowhere imo.

Lad was only 16 and lucky to get away with a warning. Especially after admitting there was probably 20 tonne in the trailer!

Cop chesting about his Son", older and haven't passed his car test yet and he can drive this , but this is legal" ?
20 tonne FFS ?
Think grey fergy and small trailer type the scope of pass test and these driving these size outfits give job a bad name plus clearly non farming , mud ,bricks load etc ?

perhaps to solve the 'lorry driver crisis' ppl with car licence should be able to drive '8 wheelers; restricted to 50kmh.......effectively thats what ag sems to be allowed to do
If that had been a truck he’d have been done and made to weigh and have the truck inspected and his records checked and I can guarantee He’d have been done

So all the ppl thats just said about how he shoulda been done have u never driven a dumper with the load not netted? Have u never driven a tractor when 16 that was above the legal weight? Or driven some machine at some point that wasnt totally road legal? Lot of hypocrites on this forum thats for sure as wev all done things or took an odd chance

When most of us were 16 it was a totally different era than it is now. He was also on a very busy dual carriage way / outskirts of a town centre.

When u and i was 16 u still were only allowed to drive under a certain weight. U sayin u never broke that law? As i certainly did. Also the law is the law whether near a town or up some country road. We all take chances and have done things in the past that wasnt "legal" whether that be breakin the speed limit or chancin a drive home after a drink or whatever else so dont see why some are so quick to condemn others
