Whats been the final outcome with this then>? did the lads get any joy the next morning? or did they give up & head home?
I don't think they got any thing before they went, there was two injunctions lifted after, that they caused with the beef blockades.
The lifting of which were a condition of allowing negotiations to go ahead.
The government were at pains to inform us that these discussions over the injunctions were going on for the last fortnight.
It was Goodman That was involved with the injunctions and he got a commitment from the government that the guards would do their job.
They had been practically ignoring the blockades up to now.
There's a task force formed now and will be meeting next week
Protestors won't like to see todays paper where tesco uk is selling Irish mince for €3.49/kg which is less than they're paying for it here
Actually that's one thing that they've highlighted, The powers that be are allowing processor to put the Irish flag on meat from all over Europe.
It's a joke when you see ''Origin Poland'' and the irish flag on it ''Quality Assured'' like WTF

Its a disgrace and quite scary that the tonnage of foreign meat entering the uk is only known by a handfull of people which doesnt include government officials.
There's hundreds of thousands of tonnes coming into our ports, it begs the question , is it just coming through to get the irish flag and then onto you
Protestors highlighted the fact that you can't find any polish beef in the shops over here, where does it go

The whole thing needs to be blown apart now, protestors need a pr company badly, they're branding everyone huars and liars at the moment,
They won't be taken serious at that, The competition Authority Is seriously antifarmer and conventional organisations can't move without CA threatening massive fines. So if the present protestors get organised they'll be targetted by CA as well , Hence the Individual farmers of Ireland tag
