Tractor radiator

I have a 200hp mainline brand tractor that had a new radiator fitted by the dealer 23 months and 1200 hours ago which has now failed (leaking from the core). The tractor has only ever had the brands coolant in it and there is no damage at all to the fins from blowing the radiator out.

The service manager agrees with me absolutely that it shouldn’t have failed but the brands hq are not really willing to contribute much at all, 23 months ago the rad was £900, now it’s £1400 and that’s supply only.

Thoughts please, I feel the manufacture should be making a very generous offer on a new one, am I being unreasonable?

Thanks in advance, and I’m not going to name them (yet)

They will make a "very generous offer" on a new one, when you push them hard ...........
Keep in mind that's why it went up £500 or did you price it from a few dealers?

Details on the cooler might be of interest .......

My advice get it recored ask them for a decent
If you removed it the radiator firm could even repair it for a fraction of the cost.

me, I would apply a bit more pressure are you ready for changing the machine anytime soon this can be a good lever to try and pull.

23 months is over the 12months guarantee which isn't the dealers fault but it still shouldn't of gone

Seems abit of a coincidence that both have started leaking I would be investigating as to why it keeps leaking
