should really get this shed more weather tight .
30 ft x 19 .
second hand , well made from big steel by a perfectionist . ( NOT ME !)

first of many q+a s
my gutter will run opposite way now - brackets attached to a 90* coping piece facia tin thingy
what's simplest way to attach ? short tech screw of rivet ? run basically level / tiny bit of fall ? black plastic gutter .

then I should make a start of a door for the open side ......... 256x256_fit_one_bestfit (310).jpg
old photo , only one I could find in putter I'll take better .

cheers tom

short tec screw, put a bit of fall on it, not a lot though, if you put to much fall on it makes something look out of level, that's why house builders put them on level, gutters don't take any harm if they hold a bit of water stops the rubbers drying out and cracking

yes captain , very true , seemed plenty big in planning .
its job was for ploughs and fire wood boxes , soon seems small tho.
the buggered wooden building 45 x 30 ish near by really needs sorting soon.
this shed was for sale local , on the floor , and seemed right money so I grabbed it .

when we used plastic gutter on sheds with a timber facia board we put the brackets 1mm lower than the last so a 30m shed would have 30mm fall on the gutter ,now they go on level with a pressed galv external eaves gutter

Plenty of head room for a loft?
I stuck it up on the block to try keep base steels dryer.
It was made to be and in theory was movable. Originally only sat on the floor.
I extended the steels either side of door . Couple of foot in concrete . Only bits held down.
I was going to make brackets to anchor it in the two far corners
But I don't think it will move .

door time ..
I've bought the running gear for a double sliding door , single track , open both ways 1/2 1/2 .
I don't really want to hang it on a timber as the shed is mainly for fire wood , worried about rot ?
so thinking a channel , so 100 x50 how thick 4 mm or more

door 10'6 has a good over lap to stations so two 5'3 s
planning to mount it on the inside .

make door from 50x50x3 ? clad in flat galv tin ?

doors sliding on the inside are a right pain, as they take the wall space,
I would put them on the outside for that reason,
I know you might be trying to keep costs down, but if you have not bought any materials yet, then I would look for a roller shutter door, and put a small walk in door next to it,
