Wouldnt be without one often think 6 smaller rollers per side would be better depending on the tread on the tyre with 4 the tyre tends to rotate in small jumps .
What happened to the good aul days with a bar prodding a weighted Massey wheel into place ?. All ye young fellas are gone soft haha.

Got a Spaldings one about 8 years ago when they had an offer on, I’m sure they all come out the same factory though!
It will get used normally at least once a week if not more and it makes the big stuff 710/42 etc a breeze.
I’d say it’s a must for any farm that has to swap wheels about, for safety if nothing else but it must knock a good ten minutes of trying to line studs up with a bar!

Anyone changing a lot of wheels should get a Trakjak for safely lifting the tractor , www.trakjak.ie image.pngimage.png

About 10 years ago we took the rollers off a spaldings wheel changer and mounted them to 2 bits of box that fitted over the forklift tines. You could jack the tractor up then take off and put on wheels with the forklift and if youve side shift its even easier

Fair enough, never seen the Front one before. They look a good job. Especially for a mechanic. Take wheels off, take tractor outside to power hose down, then drive back into the workshop again.(obviously for 4wd tractors only)
