I need to replace two rear 16.9 x 34 tyres on our 390 4wd, I have been offered MRL, CEAT and VREDESTEIN, we mainly use the tractor for hay making, so 50 hrs a year!
whats anyones thoughts on the MRL & CEAT?

Fitted Ceat last week replacing the originals that have been on 32 years 😂.

Also fitted a set to a nearby 290 on the same day. Have Ceat on our trailer and lasting well.

Terry Elsey tyres supplied me with Alliance radials for my 2 old tractors about 15 months ago. I use my tractors relatively lightly and so far OK.

lot of tyres are hard to get at the moment (brexit / covid). @Lucy @ Farm Marketplace is managing to find options though in most cases

Got a knackered tyre on combine on Monday, took all day Tuesday ringing round for one, no tyre firm had one in stock, nor did the suppliers warehouses, best date I got was 12 weeks.
Luckily a dealer friend of mine had a new one in their workshop which they’d taken off a new combine to fit another size of tyre.
This was for a 500/85R24
