You’ll need to give them more to go on than that. Mine drinks a lot on certain jobs and having spoke to a mechanic he said it’s often jobs where the catalyst doesn’t get hot enough that cause it.

whats your valtra like on ad blue james? all the ones ive been near seem to use alot of it

MF 7718 using a lot too.
Done 200 hours with it and half the ad blue barrel gone already.
Most of that time spent doing pto work at 1300 rpm engine speed so not working especially hard.
Had it on plough this week and used half a tank of it to plough 30 acres.
Seems a lot:(

You need to measure it in absolute terms against your fuel consumption. Beyond 5% is on the high side, but Tier 4 Final engines that solely rely on Adblue for emissions will use more than the same engine in previous Tier 4 interim (Stage 3b) tune.

High load and/or PTO work and high speed road work will consume more also

We have a 2012 NH CX6080 with what they tell me is tier 4, but I think is actually 3B with Ad blue.
The harder the combine works, the more Ad blue it uses each day.
Average is about 15 - 20 litres each day
Last harvest was dry and it didn't use as much as a normal harvest.

We also now have a 2018 JCB TM320S articulated Loadall and it has only used 1&1/2 tank fulls of Ad blue since last April!
I'd estimate that the tank is about 20 litres.

I'll check it tomorrow , it gives the total amount of fuel used which at this stage should be around 8000 litres and I think we have just used about two barrells of blue , I'll check it later , but I'm not far off , so that's 400 litres of blue to 8000 litres of fuel , which matches the estimates above
