I have some first milk shares to sell. Does anybody have any idea what they are worth? I have £1 C preference shares and some new preference shares.

Thanks

You only have 3 years after you leave or stop to get your new preference shares sold, before they are cancelled. C shares between 3p and 36p that I have heard off.

I was told last week that there is a considerable number of farmers interested in joining FM. There are those wanting to leave still, but the suggestion was that leavers tended to be smaller outfits than those wanting to join. Also less leavers than joiners.
All in all, from that, one might expect demand and price of shares might rise?:cautious:

How do you value the shares tho, you would need to spend all day on the phone with people who want shares and see who's willing to pay the highest price. I suppose that's do able tho. I would definitely be getting rid of the c shares obviously! How long have you left first milk? Maybe not the best thing to tell the future buyer

I think we paid 16 pence for C shares, depends how long you've left first milk! We bought them when first milk were in a really terrible place and folk would have thought we were crazy buying them
