An accessible farm in the Carse of Stirling is for sale in two lots. Gogar Mains Farm is located at Blairlogie, Stirling and extends around 76.62ac in total.

Blairlogie village is 1 mile in distance, while Stirling is four miles and Edinburgh is 40 miles. The M9 and M80 motorways are within easy reach giving access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the south.

The area is well catered for by established agricultural contractors and suppliers with the renowned Stirling Agricultural Centre lying approximately five miles to the west.

Lot 1

Lot 1 extends circa 3.52ac and includes the steading, farmhouse and bungalow.

The farm buildings are predominately made of stone construction set under slate, corrugated iron and corrugated asbestos roof.

There is an open-sided, general purpose shed of concrete portal frame construction set under a corrugated asbestos roof.

The farm steading benefits from planning consent granted by Stirling Council on January 31, 2018. It allows for the demolition of the existing buildings and the erection of eight new-build houses.

Gogar Mains Farmhouse is a two-storey dwelling, which is unoccupied, in a semi-derelict state and would benefit from a full programme of upgrading/refurbishment.

The ground floor includes: A hall; a sitting room; a dining kitchen; a utility; a store; a cellar; and a bedroom. The first floor comprises two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Mull Vannin Bungalow is a recently upgraded, single-storey, detached building, made of harled brick / blockwork under a pitched and tiled roof.

It is currently occupied on a Service Occupancy Agreement.

Lot 2

Lot 2 extends 73.1ac of productive arable land. The land is split into two main enclosures which are both readily accessible from public roads. The fields are of practical size and layout.

The land is scheduled as being principally Grade 3(2) by the James Hutton Institute and is principally flat and easily workable.

The land is currently down to grass and utilised for grazing and fodder production but has historically been cropped for cereals.

Additional information

The property is for sale whole or as two lots. Galbraith consultancy agency is facilitating the sale.

Viewings are strictly by prior appointment and only through the selling agents.

Lot 1 has a guide price of £690,000; meanwhile, lot 2 has a guide price of £450,000.

The entirety is £1,140,000. Further information can be found online.
