Yes that seed coating is very rough on the first cigarette roll if you forget

Trouble is its not always possible to do what's best, example... cattle go well with sheep but in some areas bTB spoils that ideal.

Only had fat hen bad one year and that was in straight grass seeds 2 years ago in the dry.

Undersowing peas and barley with grass and clover you have to be patient, which most farmers aren't, and wait for the weather to be on the crops side.
1st week of April at the earliest here for drilling IMHO.
Never had a failure yet.

Lot of doom and gloom on here regarding the removal of subs brexit etc etc
Bringing back mixed Farming with livestock in the arable rotation is the way forward I believe.
No doubt some will disagree?
Fert and fancy Machinery will be first to suffer.

can't ban nitrogen now......the country can't do without the 'by product' co2.....honestly after all the bloomin preaching about nitrates in water it comes to this
