Terrible, is the birdge in question the one in these pictures?


Looks like it. Eleven people sharing a Ranger and a small lambing trailer on a very dodgy looking swing bridge. Woudn't want to be the one defending that as sensible.

A lot of people say they wouldn't have crossed the bridge based on the pictures, well of course you wouldn't because the pictures are of a collapsed bridge.
I don't like bridges much at the best of times but it looked OK pre-collapse and they no doubt used it almost daily. As always there are lots of experts after the event.
