Is there a machine on the market which will accurately spread both fertiliser, lime and other products such as fiberphos, the ability to spread VR and sectional control like the top end mounted spreaders?
Would also like it not to be too big, 5 ton ish and with steering axle.

Anything available?

We have been looking at grafting a section control hydraulic drive spinner onto back of bredal .
Have you have regular shaped fields don’t think you will gain much with a fancy spreader if your a good operator. ,
Bredal have the xe but a big lump and mega£

Local dealer has started advertising Spreadpoint, they look as though theyre built by Richard Kane so expect them to be well made.
Looking on website makes no mention of be able to spread fertiliser, anyone looked more into them?

Looks like the 600 would definitely handle most things as it has a hydraulic belt drive and mentions a hydraulic back door as well.
We generally mix lime and fert together for spreading and that definitely works as the granules fly much further than the lime does which helps the pattern of both products, eg our trucks will spread lime nicely at 12-13 metres but with fert covers nicely out to 14, they haven't got fancy adjustable vanes or anything.

Those look well made enough to ring and ask about what they can handle.
