Few from first cut. Water pump went on 7740 so had to finish with the 6470.

Would the 6470 not be the tractor to use anyway ? Possibly 30 hp stronger ?

It’s not mine, had to borrow it off a friend. In all honesty there was nothing between it and the 7740, if I’m being truthful the 7740 hung on a little bit better but then again it is tweaked a littleWould the 6470 not be the tractor to use anyway ? Possibly 30 hp stronger ?
How much is a little...It’s not mine, had to borrow it off a friend. In all honesty there was nothing between it and the 7740, if I’m being truthful the 7740 hung on a little bit better but then again it is tweaked a little
Started off as standard as 93 at shaft, dealer tweaked her to 103, and then I gave her the same again, and then again.... so I’m guessing she’s around 120-130 at the shaft. How much is a little...
I thought you had a flywheel jag?Started off as standard as 93 at shaft, dealer tweaked her to 103, and then I gave her the same again, and then again.... so I’m guessing she’s around 120-130 at the shaft.
Sold it last year with the flywheel bearing gone in it for £300 more than I paid forI thought you had a flywheel jag?
Generally they don't go much above 125, unless you've got one that was worked hard from new. You never seem to get two powerstars the same, I think the way they are run in determines how they performStarted off as standard as 93 at shaft, dealer tweaked her to 103, and then I gave her the same again, and then again.... so I’m guessing she’s around 120-130 at the shaft.
That seems the old Skool way to use trailed machine,2019 grass feverView attachment 825048
She must be up around the 125 mark anyway.Generally they don't go much above 125, unless you've got one that was worked hard from new. You never seem to get two powerstars the same, I think the way they are run in determines how they perform
Saves a driver and a tractor plus I know exactly where the trailer is, old school when you can reverse the rig where you want itThat seems the old Skool way to use trailed machine,
Hard to know what it did then. A purely arable workload should've been kind to it but a Yorkshireman might have bought it to do the work of an 8340...She must be up around the 125 mark anyway.
All I know about the previous history is she came from an arable farm in Yorkshire
It came in skinny tyres, toolbox was full of sprayer nozzles and there was instructions about what gear to be in and what pressure to run sprayer at so I’m guessing she was a sprayer tractorHard to know what it did then. Nice to see newish rake on a older tractor
I know that outfit well. The man driving has been combining my barley today.I’ve posted these in the past but here’s a few pic of silage time 8-10 years back View attachment 824814View attachment 824815View attachment 824816View attachment 824817
