Any thoughts on 560/60/22.5 tyres on a trailer the choices are CEAT, BKT ride max , or equivalent Alliance a mixture of road and field work any thoughts greatly appreciated

We have BKT ridemax on our broughan silage trailer and I’m very happy with them. Will be replacing with likewise again. They are all pretty low on tread now (trailer is a 2013).

We have lots , BKT ridemax, Michelin cargo bibs, Nokian country kings as well & there is nothing between any of them & maybe £150 diffrance in price from the cheap to the expensive ones , have tried other makers but found them very poor if doing a lot of road work. get them on a 22" wide rim to work best

there is nothing it it at all I would say the Nokians may get more flats than the rest as they are not a wide & are pulled out a bit on a 22" rim

I was quoted £495 with 10 stud rims for Ceat 560/60r22.5 off my local tyre man. Ended up having to go with Ceat 600/50r22.5 with rims was £630 as not enough clearance from body to get 560"s on

Have that make on low loader seem ok up to now everything else is double coin

Have a look at vredestien. They last for ages

we fitted 12no 560/60r22.5 vrede a 2years ago to replace BKT's that all failed and although we are big vrede tractor tyre fans the vrede's have all failed in the exact same way as Bkt's.
Currently fitting a mix of michelin trailxbib's that have 5300kg per tyre @ 65kph and nokian ct's @ 5100kg per tyre - we will see if any of these new vF tyres last.
trouble is that up until now all 560/60r22.5's have only been rated at max 4600/4700 ish kg @ 65kph at 5bar up until now.
the new michelin's are rates to 5300kg @ from memory 3bar so hopefully a big difference.
anyone got any issues with trailxbibs or nokian ct as yet?

That’s keen with new rims too? I’ve seen BKT ride max for much the same money without rims. May look into that when ours need changed.
