Hi all I am based in Scotland and have been supporting various projects on the ground in Ukraine since day 1 of War on February 24th. These projects include: - evacuation efforts from front line (working with Road2Relief UA) - donations of medical and hospital equipment to field hospitals at frontline (including specialist birth bags) (Working with BabyLifeLine and Ukrainian hospitals e.g., in Dnipro, Bucha, Irpin, Sumy) - assistance with animal food and evacuations (working with Breaking the Chains) - general aid including things like generators, tools, water tanks to be used at refugee camps etc (working with Hope and Aid Direct, UK Aid for Ukraine, and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain) Working with groups on the ground means that I have direct contacts who update me on a daily basis as to present needs. Unfortunately, the lack of large vehicles to move aid around within Ukraine remains a huge issue (most vans and 4x4 have been sent to the frontline to military). For that reason, I am urgently seeking trailers (any type) that we could take to Ukraine to assist with the transport of aid in country. A hatchback cannot move much aid but a hatchback with a trailer certainly can! If anyone on this forum has any old trailers or livestock trailers or horseboxes that they wouldn't mind donating to Ukraine - please let me know. Work is also ongoing to build temporary shelters and refugee camps and therefore tools are also required. If anyone is looking to get rid of any tools (in workable condition) please do reach out and I will find a way to collect and get them to where they are needed. I am already hugely grateful to the farming network who have already helped us so much: be it farmers volunteering to operate forklifts in our Edinburgh warehouse to move aid onto lorries, farmers who have donated pallets of potatoes and especially my brother in law who has recently donated me a livestock trailer for Ukraine. Thank you all for reading
