Transferring Video from DVD

I have a video on DVD which I would like to transfer to something like YouTube.
The video files are VOB what is the easiest way to move them over please?
I would be happy to pay a small amount
and before some one suggests sending it to Baldrick, its not that type of material

I've used a piece of software before called handbrake. This will convert it to mp4, that can then be uploaded to YouTube.

@Chris F right, so I have run the video with the Handbrake on .Thiis seems to have produced a version called MY_VIDEO_113008.mp4
Which sounds good but for some reason I cannot seem to save it
Any clue?
I am working on a Mac using the latest Catalina
