Trebuchet build

I've been watching, cracking job Tom.

In the last video there was talk of adding more weight but the JCB wouldn't lift the skip, consider a rope from the top of the arm down through a pulley on the chassis for "setting" it.
Then clip the rope to the arm out of the way for firing.

We would have used a rope but with a very limited time scale of 4 weeks to build it and film it this was the final result I think there will be some modifications in the future.
now it’s been signed off with Microsoft and they got there 3 videos we are free to do as we please without having to answer to them.

That must be interesting working with furze he seem a very talented and likeable guy and your welding is far from shabby either.
I watch pretty much all his stuff and love the presenting style he has an unbelievably big following very well deserved in my opinion.
I will watch future videos with renewed interest in "the man behind the scenes" thanks for the post

By the way how long does picking up the debris take :ROFLMAO: ?

Bare steel looks quite good though if it doesn't get time to rust before you are done filming and move on to the next project. You could argue it's actually more environmentally friendly given the short life cycle of some of these projects.
