Trenching Bucket

I'm looking for a McConnel Power Arm back actor digger bucket - the 5 and a half inch trenching bucket. I may be about to buy an old back actor but it does not have the trenching bucket which would be crucial to me. Thanks. I'll be fitting the back actor on a Leyland 272 by the way.

Is that the one that has a flap in it and two long rods attached so that when you crowd the bucket to empty it pushes the lump of soil (or more likely clay) out? If so I may have one somewhere. Its wider than 5 and a half inches wide tho, that seems incredibly narrow.

Hi, Yes, that is the one. There is a narrow 5 1/2 inch bucket available but can't seem to find them anywhere! They are ideal for laying 4 inch field drain pipes but some prefer the wider 12 inch type. Anyway, seems the deal for the back actor has fallen through today. Shame really, I guess I'll keep looking for a back actor that comes with the bucket I am looking for as well as "normal" size buckets! Thank nevertheless.

I'll have a look and see, I definitely haven't got rid of it, finding it is another issue!

I've had a look, found the bucket plus the flap and the long rods, no idea how it all fits together mind! Its pretty ancient, but if you want it its yours, its only rusting away here. I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow.
