Must be slack?Can’t really tell but I have in the past cut fences and rejoined them for silage / sheep moves , takes minutes if you use gripples save hrs some days

Depends how old the lambs are surely? If very young ewes will keep turning round on the dog and lambs will double back.A man/woman with One good dog would do the job.

far easier to let them drift into a new area and shut the gate behind them.
have you not got any sheepy neighbours who could come and give you a look and a kindly word in exchange for some beer or cider? Or maybe an offer to help out in exchange.
Yep, and a good idea to take the sheep round the field for a lap or two to let them understand that the dog is in controlIf the dog has “feel” for sheep and power its a non issue
