2 in this month's farmers guideHello after a trimble/ case / new Holland 750 screen with ez pilot.
Any correction signal
If you have just the screen or just ez pilot then would be happy to take either.
Thanks

About £3k out of my leagueGot a price from local CNH dealer that have an ex display 750 and ez pilot system on radio rtk that has sat around for a few years for £8000. Doesn't sound too bad really.
.....as in selling or buying? They said brand new would be about 12k from themAbout £3k out of my league

Soil essentials have them advertised in here for 5500 fitted. We use this on rangepoint for drilling and does great job.
Is that with auto steer ?Soil essentials have them advertised in here for 5500 fitted. We use this on rangepoint for drilling and does great job.
Yes. It's a motor that goes on top of steering wheel. Easier to change between machines. Is that with auto steer ?
It's that offer still current? Trimble kit prices rose before Christmas due to the weaker pound.Yes. It's a motor that goes on top of steering wheel. Easier to change between machines.
Not sure. Have definitely seen advert for it on here since Xmas though. It's that offer still current? Trimble kit prices rose before Christmas due to the weaker pound.
No. Plenty accurate for drilling though.Ye that's what I want , as I got a price for a hydraulic plumbed in system but the hydraulics were 4 k and lost if tractor sold ,
What is accuracy of your system ??, is rangepoint as accurate as rtk?
Range point won't put the tramlines in the same place year on year. RTK will do that so if you're doing controlled traffic its ideal as you can swap AB between machines and it will always be in the same place. Also RTK is 2cm accuracy pass to pass, and rangepoint is 15cm though I think people say it is a lot better than 15cm in practice. If you are doing bed forming for spuds etc the RTK is the best option, though people make lesser accuracy setups work well. It will always be dead straight its just how accurate the next bout will be. So if using markers you can line up on the marker line, nudge your AB line to that, and then set off. There are so many different options around its mind boggling! As @Chae1 says rangepoint is good enough and I think its only £265 a year with first year for free.Ok,,so what would rtk be for ? I'd have thought drilling was most accurate requirement
