Trimble 750

I have quite a list of different clients in our 750s but they are in there in a completely random order, and a different order in each of the 3 units. I have downloaded everything to Farmworks View, reset all the units and re-uploaded but still different. In one our farm happens to be first on the list, on another it’s halfway through.

Is there a way to order these, or set a ‘default’?

Do the more expensive systems allow this? Is it because Trimble is the cheap (ish) and cheerful end of the market?

The CFX-750 has always has some interesting user interface quirks. Some only seem to effect some screens and not others. Every firmware update seemed to fix some quirks and the introduce others and left really simple but really annoying ones unresolved. It did it’s job but I never found it very user friendly.
The new GFX-750 is now in another league, I’ve been using a beta version of the next firmware release for it for a few weeks and I have to say I have been very impressed with it for both user friendliness and functionality. Quite why the marketing department decided to only change one letter in the product name for 2 products that are like chalk and cheese I will never understand.

Hard to justify changing though! Lot of money for no return other than slightly easier to use!

Trimble are the cheapest and also the most expensive on the market covering both ends well - our latest Trimble high end kit came in at £18k fully loaded. Trimble has the most cheapest subscription (rangepoint) and most expensive subscription (centerpoint) on the market.
It’s the Trimble unlocks that add up so don’t write other brands off without getting a quote first.
Trimble Rangepoint is cheap accurate gps. No other brands offer this type of System with a decent low cost subscription.

Answer to your original question is sadly No. The Trimble higher end stuff will know what field you are in without even searching for it, it works by the closer you are to the field the nearer to the top of the list it is.

Meanwhile other receivers, just automatically find and select the field as soon as you drive into it.

Or even tell you how to get to the field when you can’t find it ;)

Quite why the CFX750 didn’t locate which field you were working is a bit of a mystery as I seem to remember that later versions of the EzGuide 500 firmware had that capability, yet it never made it to the CFX.

Just had a quick look, can you get the GFX in NH colours?

That can't be right,we pay nothing for SF1,and it's better than Range point rtx imo.
