Trimble ag15 spare cable

Hello. I've a Trimble 250 ez guide which i use for spraying etc. I use the ag15 up grade aerial. I want a spare aerial cable to use it in another machine. I priced the local New Holland dealership who want £90 for an aerial cable. I know this is just a length of coax cable and nothing special, has anyone bought one of eBay or Amazon that works?

Not difficult to make them up , any cb sellers near you or tv engineer ?
Vapormatic also sell them if near a dealer

Spoke to a TV aerial guy and he hadn't a clue what I was talking about. Must get on to the local vapomatic dealer then

I cant rember exactly but without looking think its rg-49 cable with tnc fittings on the ends that bit im shure about you can buy the cable crimp on tnc's and crimpers on ebay but for how close to the 90 quid thats a safer bet imo

Can you shorten them without ruining them, there's enough length to go several times round tractor. Bunched up its asking to get caught, just scared of ruining it

I've a spare cheap Chinese patch aerial that cost a tenner from eBay but it usually didnt get great coverage so I've ordered a TNC male connector and I'm gonna cut the cable and solder it and use the ag15. That's the theory anyway
