Yes.
You asked how to wipe all fields and data.
Why are you wiping the fields if you want them back on the screen afterwards?
You could save all the vehicle profiles to a USB and then reload them to the screen.
Data management is not a strong point of the cfx, especially AB lines.

They don't delete, that's the problem.
Instead of clicking delete all record click delete all data.
If u delete all record the screen resets and doesn't work.
No update rectifies this to date!

If you save all the data from your screen to a memory stick you can then just open it up on your computer and look through and edit your fields

Some more details would probably be helpful. I doubt the above works on any computer (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) without any additional tools unless you are looking at the binary data with a notepad and have better than average skills interpreting that data.

Are you perhaps using Farmworks or some similar software? Free or paid version?

I have used OpenOffice in the past to edit the .dbf files. It is a free download.

I had the same problem as the OP. until today.

Apparently some boxes have incorrect firmware in them that. The 2 buttons that allow you to delete 'data' or 'fields' are the wrong way round. I have had to create and use a couple of fields to get back the buttons to delete the 'data', which actually deletes the 'fields' (and data).

I hope this makes sense.

Edit It hasn't worked for me. Not even a hard reset worked. It is being looked into.

what is dbf file also, is the ab line info the pos file?
Thinking about it Trimble may have altered the file structure so it might not work in the same way anymore. To be honest it is a long time since I did it.
There are/were 3 files for each field. The two important ones are:
1) The .shp file which has all the "drawings" of the AB lines, A+ lines, Adaptive curves etc. I used PT-mapper to look at and edit these.
2) The .dbf file which is the database which tells the screen what each item in the .shp file is, along with when and how it was created and various other bit of information.
