Trimble ez guide 250

Are there any simple tips for the use of a ez 250. I've only used it once .there seems to be a slight delay on screen when I reach the headland. I simply couldn't rely solely on the guide
I'm only showing fertiliser

Mine had that and the Trimble guy down south showed me the settings to use that should sort it. Have a video but to large to upload here.

Are you getting 5 'signal strength' green lights in the top left of the screen?
No nothing only N/A. It's the small magnet type antenna
I'm not up a mountain either. Bought it 4 years ago. I got sick and never used it. As I said only for fertiliser. I've been showing fert since I was 10 and over 40 years later I'm still sowing at 7m. Wanted a bigger bout width

If it's 4 years old it's not been upgraded to the latest software or settings, do a search in the GPS section there was a few threads about it last year as all the settings changed for egnos.

There must also be some setting you can change so it's quicker, mine is brilliant for that but I find the NH intellisteer very slow and it makes it very difficult to actually find your next bout.

This is my screen. I tried another antenna from a neighbours 250 and still the same. Looks like I need it updated. Where do I start that process

Contact AS communications, they are absolutely spot on when it comes to the Trimble stuff, they will email you the update and you’ll be off and running in no time

I'm late to this party but grasstec updated mine last year free of charge, something about a change of satellite. Great machine, except if you're under trees.
