Calibrating an Ez-Pilot?

As above start by driving straight forward steadily and start the calibration. It will steer the wheel during the test. Make sure you have plenty of space before you start.

I suggest trying the calibration in a field with 4wd engaged. This result can be more representative for field work than doing the calibration in the yard, taking into account the slip angle between the direction the front tyres are pointing in and the direction they actually move in. I have a couple of profiles saved for my main tractor which I chose from depending on the job and draft load.

I did the roll calibration Sunday on level concrete then did the right angle turn Monday in a grass field before chain harrowing, drove straight down field all seemed ok then did left and then came up with sam 200 error.
Do i need ez steering turned on,or should all calibrations be done together.

EZ-Steer needs to be on (powered) to do the calibration.
Also:
>Guidance >Settings >Autosteer >EZ-Steer Setup
and
>Guidance >Settings >Autosteer >EZ-Pilot Setup
are not the same.

If U do have an EZ-Steer you should not be getting any "Sam 200... " errors. There is no SAM 200 (=EZ-pilot steering motor) on an EZ-Steer.

If U get stuck: Maybe a "Soft Reset" of the display helps.
Please check also the firmware levels on the display (Which display do U have) and the EZ-Steer T2- steering controller.

Ez steer 500 powers on,it is possible i may have clicked on Ez pilot by mistake, did a hard reset before fitting Ez steer.
Had my Fm 750 3 years or more ,never updated firmware

I had an CFX750 (same as FM750) that sort of got stuck on thinking it was attached to an Ez-Pilot no matter what I did. The result was I could no longer use it with an Ez-Steer, because if it wasn't connected to an Ez-pilot it just kept saying there was an error with the SAM-200.

Thanks for that, just done my right and left angle calibration went ok this time no errors ,will finish off tomorrow morning on an a-b line up the field.
I must have pressed the Ez Pilot switch somewhere without knowing it
