Trimble RTK for drilling every 2nd pass

Hello gentlemen,
Firstly, I have almost no experience with precision agriculture. So far from time to time I have used GFX-350 with NAV-500 for some field works. The accuracy is just not enough for our jobs.
I would like to go for RTK autosteer. I have transferred to 100% NoTill so I would it for drilling only. I am setting up tramlines while drilling. Today I contacted local Trimble dealer and he is offering me used CFX750 display, EZ-Pilot and all the other things needed for 2.5 cm autosteer and he is willing to buy our GFX-350/NAV-500 kit.
My idea is to drill skipping next pass to speed up the turning in headlands and most importantly the headland compaction. One of the problems might be the tramlining for spraying/fertilizing jobs since I will have to set them manually if the next pass is skipped. Can I make all of the needed lines with highlighting the tramlining lines before the drilling for every field and import them in the display? Any other problems I might face? The price he offered for the kit was quite good, in my opinion, and he is willing to buy our existing guidance kit which I really do not need.

You can highlight tramlines and put them all in first on one I use. Then remember to move off tramlining and fill in rest. Don't need markers so don't trip tramlining sequence.

Why wouldn't GFX350 not work on RTK with NAV500 if CFX350 does with NAV500? Asking because I'm not familiar with these products.
If used with GFX-350 display, then I would need NAV-900 controller. It would cost around 12k EUR for 2.5 cm RTK auto steered system if GFX display is used and 7k EUR if I buy the used set with CFX display. Also he would be willing to buy back my existing kit.
