Trimble subscription

mine has just run out after its first year , where is the best place to renew ? have been on Centerpoint RTX (fast convergence ) very accurate .Used for spraying I set it for 24m and don't miss anything .What are the other options only have 150 acres of cereals but its nice to sit back and let it steer as
I look around the field.I bought i through Does but assume I can shop around to update it

Always went to vantage-ag uk when we used Trimble. Think a guy called Ben 07585972265

You can set up an account on the Trimble website, but it's a bit clunky, and you might have to take over control of your serial number from your suppliers account.

I found Rangepoint adequate.

I don't think you will get it cheaper elsewhere, very much fixed price.

I used Rangepoint RTX for years and perfectly adequate for spraying, you won't miss anything.

Although it did takes ages to get a 'Green' signal before you're good to go.

Perfectly adequate for drilling too.

Pretty sure EGNOS the free signal would be good enough for spraying

Have you tested out using EGNOS for spraying?

Now would be the ideal time doing glyphosate on stubbles. Easy to spot misses, and cheap and easy to fix if needed. Might save yourself £1000 a year.

EGNOS is accurate enough for spraying unless the sprayer has individual nozzle control.

Unfortunately many of us cannot save anything if using EGNOS only, the same cost for RTK from a private (or shared) base.

Renewed mine last night on Trimble site. £625 / yr for centrepoint rtx standard or fast version. Quite expensive but got code instantly online.
Website isn't very user friendly. Should really go down Agopen route but don't think I've got the tech know how!!

We found that 5 years works out cheaper obv only works if you keep the system that long

What actually do I need to download, bought new trimble last year so have steering wheel ,screen and nav900 on the roof had centepoint free for 1st 12 months. Sorry if it's a stupid question

When you say integrated is it a steer ready MF?

If so AgOpenGPS can steer it over CanBus easily.

And the EZ steer you can wire directly to and steer with AgOpenGPS.

Integrated one is steer ready and has the Trimble system set up working hyd valve through nav2 controller.
Would be more interested in getting the ez steer working on agopen setup up as rangepoint sub has expired on that screen to see how it works and go to rtk on it.

I changed our combine from a trimble ez steer to agopengps with the steering cogs and free rtk and can honestly say it's miles better than the trimble system. It steers so much nicer.
