Hi,

What trimmers are the best for trimming dirty cattle?

Just wondering what peoples methods are and what they have found works the best?

Thanks

Lister Wizards on showman battery clippers a bit inclined to nick the skin but clipped some "Crocodiles" over the last 20 years with them. Just converted one of them to a 12v Milwaukee battery we,l see how it does.

Just be bloody careful doing it please people. Broken arm or kicked in the face and the small fee for cleaning at the abattoir isn't actually so bad...

The best thing for trimming cattle is a decent crush. Squeeze crush, preferably raised a foot or so off the ground so you don't have to bend down so far and the clipper on a short wooden handle so you are out of the firing line. Or do them dead.

just bought a clipper off amazon for £60 delivered! see how it goes !! as a heineger sheep one was £320 !! as ive stripped the thread in the head that holds the comb on , try and re thread it but for £60 its a cheap back up !!
