What was the false seed bed made with in the combi sown barley
There looks to have been more cultivation in the triton sown barley than the combi sown barley which seems strange

both were made with straw rake and 2 inch powerharrow to keep depth to 2 inch, sprayed with roundup the side press tines move the soil sideways and do not mix the lower soil with black grass seed in with the top keeping the top clean ? if all top seed germinate ,and keeping compaction from the top which helps stop black grass germinating keeping my fingers crossed it works oct not nov, triton in thickest black grass area,

I am not a pr man just a farmer posting my thoughts and experience to other farmers I DO NOT HAVE A A-LEVEL IN ENGLISH JUST A GOOD FARMER i have lifted my organic matter from low 9 years ago to normal and still rising i put back all my straw and grow green manure crops my p and k levels are 1 to 2 ph 7.5 the only low is sulphur due to clean air, the past 2 years my average yield is 10 tons a ha i cannot disk dd drill in my soil as it do's not grow away the triton work most of the time just do's not like dry dusty soil with a very heavy crop of straw not the best drill for light dry land my best results are from drilling into wet heavy clay now it cuts the slots with out moving to much soil better than disks its the only drill that that makes a very good job in these condition drill will go when tractor will not travel .when it rains it is the tractor that stops you the drill will still make a good job, in wet light land the thick straw go's through well. dry long thick straw on top in very dry light soil are not the best for this drill every drill has good and bad points medium to very heavy soil it works best , great if really wet
