Hi guys
We have a Tru-test EziWeigh 7i weigh head which we use for cattle and sheep weighing. It has always worked find and still does the weighing with sheep and younger cattle but has just started to display an error message whenever we weigh adult cattle. The error code is 'oUEr' and refers to 'Overload. Weight on scale is greater than its capacity.'.
We have small hill cows and have always managed to weigh anything including adult bulls so there's definitely not an overload issue. When reading the weight via EID to upload to the stock recorder, the weigh head sometimes still shows the error message but the stock recorder shows the correct weight. We did cattle today without EID and again the weigh head showed the error message but the stock recorder showed 300kg which was definitely not true.
Any ideas what could cause this sudden error message? I'll probably need to phone Ritchie but thought I'll just ask here first.
Thanks in advance!
