Leyland is very shiny?
Ford was a proper truck, the steering wheel is on the ditch side, must have been a road sweeper ...........
It's been painted. VERY painted!

The Ford belonged to one of our Gallic cousins - it was probably used to cart around veal crates and Exocet missiles. There's enough room in that cab for the driver to take his mistress along, too, after spending the weekend at home beating his wife for having a moustache.

Ah, Vive la France!

I liked the old Leylands had a F7 where I worked at the same time as the Bison but got rid of it as it was to expensive to keep on the road, had a Constructor after that, good old waggons

Never heard that, right enough they had Cummins fitted (mostly 335 here), but apart from that, I don't know.
Berliet and Renault shared the cab and the electrics were a bit oddball, with bits 12Volt and other bits 24Volts.

Cavanagh's Fermoy Co.Cork were the only dealers here for them, only a handful sold. But that was back when Leyland had the Buffalo/Marathon .........

I'm sure read somewhere that there was very little Ford in them - they were just bitsas to fill a gap in they're range until development of the Cargo was complete.
