Trump & Tractors

If you want to post pictures of Freddie that's up to you, just thought it was hypocritical to be posting pictures of your child then saying children under 10 should be kept out of social media. If "celebrities" don't want their children's faces made they make efforts to do so, how often do you see pictures with the faces of celeb. children blanked out to try to keep their anonymity?

This, I do agree with you, the child shouldn't pay for the crimes of the parent.

If the media posted up a picture of Freddie and you commented negatively I'd be upset. Can you imagine the comments if Trump was the first incoming President in history not to have his family by his side at his Inauguration? I fail to see the link. I was commenting that others should play the Man not the Kid

I doubt Trump could annoy farmers more than Obama, in fact he has gone out of his way to appoint Sonny Perdue (who is a farmer himself, and Governor of Georgia) to the post of Agricultural Secretary, which has apparently been very well received by US farmers @doorknob .
Edit : He's a veterinarian, and son of a farmer.

As for your comment about Ivanka, it couldn't be any worse than her own fathers creepy 'view' of her:

Normally I stay away from politics, but since I see I am mentioned here, I'll say that so far, I have not found any farmer or agriculture representative in my area that does not support uncle Donald.

IMO, if he only accomplishes 10% of what he proposes to in the next four years, he will have done more for this country than all of the previous 10 presidents combined. His mindset and his choice for cabinet members show so much promise over all.

Well now you've got the opportunity to explain yourself haven't you

If you or I posted a pic of your child in a positive light , that's good.

If the media posted a picture of your or my child and then others commented negatively on the child as a reflection of the parent that's not good

FWIW I'm incredibly proud of my Son (well all three kids) and as a single parent, I don't find anything wrong with showing that pride.

Thank you for the opportunity to explain myself.

You stated that ten year old kids should be kept out of ANY social media?: You choose to post pictures of your child on tff which is social media.

Bit of a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Don't think I was the only one to note the irony going by the number of likes Mr Watkins post received.

Read it again and my explanations in ensuing posts. No conflict, no irony. And yes I did note who liked that post

End of comments from my side

When Freddy turns into "Kevin" he might not like the idea his pictures are on the WWW, Don't forget @JP1 your kids could be the ones who choose your care home one day ;)

Maybe he will but there are a few things in the back of my mind. He's five and a half and likely won't remember anything much from before. Couple that with a 49 year age gap (so I won't be around for that long with his potential Fatherhood years) and the fact that he spends a lot of time in adult company now, so I hope he will come to see that in this (new to me) digital age, there's a record of good times and how much love and encouragement he's always had. He has a great following on FB from friends all over the World who also want to know how he's getting on too
