Trying to tax a Tractor.

Notification came in (V11Z) to tax the tractors (all are taxed in same month). Done it on line, all OK except the one vintage yoke a 1963 massey 35X, wouldn't tax online as it came up that there was no valid MOT for the vehicle. Rang Swansea to explain it was a 55 year old tractor and it didn't need an MOT, they advised me to ring my local DVLA test centre (in NI all MOT's are done by the government) I rang them and they haven't a clue. The Tractor has been on this farm for the past 50 years, registered to me for the past 15, taxed every year and is on the V11 as Tax class: Historic Vehicle. I am waiting on a call back from DVA but don't hold much hope as it seems to be the blind leading the blind.
Has anyone else encountered this before? is there a place to ring or a form to fill in?
TIA.

This could go down as the shortest thread ever. Got a call back from local DVA, they said tell Swansea you've checked with us and it doesn't need an MOT. Rang Swansea again got a bloke called Simon and when I told him my problem he told me "yeah our system cant do those and I cant override it but if you take it down the local Post Office they can do any thing, far more than us! Wish I had got him on the phone 2hrs ago.

I am told , but have not tried that if you tick the MOT box as yes that it will go through

As far as I can recall, there is no box to check any more, the DVLA website automatically checks the reg number against the database of valid MOT certificates, and if there isn't one it chucks you off. I did actually try to do my limited use LR online just the other day rather than have to go to the PO, and it wouldn't let me.

have the same problem with our gator every year, its taxed as limited use and if you try to do it online it wont accept it as it says there is no valid MOT, i just take renewal form to post office now and they tax it straight away. Dont know why dvla cant just sort out their online form.
