Probably best put it on a trailer and take it to your local weigh bridge, like Bob says left hand disk weights tool box and any other gadgets weigh it with it all on and you will know for sure

Thanks all. Am looking at a standard dexta & 2 furrow ts 59 on a 14ft ifor. Am hoping it will be ok on a 2.4t limit 4x4, but will be tight !!
As you say safest to get it weighed.

That is the weight on Ifor Williams web site. Weighed my 14 ft and with sides and spare wheel it was 850kg if I remember.
As his trailers are priced bare I would think that 735kg would be for the bare trailer extras to be added on.

For what it's worth and just to put things in perspective, then my D3 with a tri-axle 16' Ifor (6.5' wide) plus headboard, steel ramps, jacks & ladder rack when fully fuelled, me in it and a few power tools and toolbox in the back, weighs off at exactly 4 tonnes.
Train weight on a D3 is 6730, towing capacity 3500
Not so much pulling em' as stoppin' em'!

So therefore you have 2730kg spare capacity on the gross train weight but what is the weight of the bare trailer ? This must be at least 850kg on a triaxle which would give about 2650kg payload. The trouble with triaxles is that the payload is reduced by the weight of the extra axle though the weight distribution is better and more stable. My theory is that 2 tonne tractors plus plough is the maximum for towing with a full spec 4X4 on a trailer. That is with all ratings at 3.5 tonnes. This rules out 4 cylinder Nuffields, Fordson Majors and all sorts of others around that size.

Wasn't the question for a vehicle with a max towing capacity of 2,400kg's ? You'd easily be in with a Disco, or anything else capable of 3,500kg towing....

Did say 'for what its worth' Charlie just as an example.
Just look round at any ploughing match Charlie and there could be as many as 30% overloaded or loaded illegally (axle or towball weight).
Information - always better looking at it than looking for it.

Late to the party I know but my Ransomes manual that covers 2f, 3f and 2f/3f convertible has the weights if you would like to know still.
if i remember the 3f weighed between 350kg and 407kg depending on bodies etc.
