ts 63

anybody used a ts 63 with yl 183 ?

seems a hell of a long plough compared to a ts 59

where they just designed for rnd boards ?

would the point to point be similar to an rsld trailer plough ?

how would your "ins" go on with the extra length ?

comments please

I have lent out my Ransomes bible Ben, but there is a picture of a 63 with Epic bodies on it, the plough is long enough to run the disc stalk behind the cross shaft with Epics fitted, the 63 is the only mounted plough long enough to take RND'S hence the reason why some have ended up with RWM's fitted as the 59 can't take them without serious modification

Better off with a 59 for YL's Ben. Extra length frame will destroy your ins and outs.
63 has the front disc stem wrong way round. Similar inter body clearance to an 86 although extra length is gained in the frame. 86 uses different legs for RWM than TCN or YL's can't remember exactly but I think they are set 6" back for RWM's. Looks like they will be further back still (back int' shed) ift' unelected have their way!
Has the 63 got BK69's on it?
What some guys do is redrill the beam for the front leg to give the same inter body clearance as a 59
