52 in furrow 56 or 60 on land both with inside of tyres in line
Whatever suits yourself. Narrow furrow side makes it easier to slip one off
Wider land side flattens stubble more effectively
52 inch centres give 40 between the wheels, fine if Dad is ploughing a 10 inch furrow, he can straddle 4, however if you want to plough wider then Howard's scenario works really well, I use the same setup
