We had a 4wd one we sold to upgrade to the 6610. Great tractor, was in good nick and paid for nearly 3/4 of 6610!

What hours yours done, you had her a while?

Is that a set of twose rollers behind, we have same set sat in our shed.

Just over 10000hrs,I’ve only had it 8 years now I think

It is a set of rollers but Claydon ones not twose

We have a new 15 cube twin auger Kuhn , after having 2 single auger Kuhns over the last 15 yrs or so . I like Kuhn stuff ,the gearboxes have been very proven over time
Always had just one single door ,no conveyor , (although the new ones got 2 doors )as its a bit of a weak link in my book . Very nice but do you need a conveyor ?
All round bales here ,so yes ,it works with unchopped bales ,but if I had any like that I would pop them in first and the chopped ones after , as they can be a bit of a rascal.

I wouldnt fill a wagon before I turned it on l,as I have heard of a place where they did that ,and had to physically unload some ,before they could start it up (2 speed boxes are a help with this ,but I wouldnt like to chance it )
All in all , great that TMR is , its an expensive thing:p
ps , we still have a v tidy single auger Kuhn , 11 cube , for sale if anyones interested :woot:

Our Kuhn dealer is so useless that I wouldn't even consider looking at the product, which is a shame because the product is usually good.

Have a KV Siloking twin auger here doing bales, it's OK but I don't rate the 2 speed gearbox at all, it's either too fast or too slow. And if you change to 1000rpm input speed you will get exactly the same speed in low box as you did in high at 540 rpm.:banghead:

It also had a habit of the bales riding up and sitting above the augers until I modified them, it works much better now.

I can see the immediate advantages of that myself.

40 years ago my dad fed onto the floor,we forked silage in and pushed it up with a rubber hand scraper.

30 years ago we started with a Keenan so made troughs, great no more forking, well there was forking out the trough. :poop:(n)

12 years ago I built a new shed and started floor feeding again, push up with a pusher on the loadall clean out with the bucket on the loadall.

Still have the old trough and use it for feeding dry cows and in calf heifers,it’s a pain.(n)
