Went to see Steve Hacketts “Seconds Out” Genesis revival tour show in Oxford night before last. Hardly anybody under 50 was there!

Absolutely brilliant. Especially so “Supper’s ready”. The original track from 1972’s Foxtrot was so long that you needed a decent turntable to play it all without lifting the needle before it ended.

Here is the track played at the Royal Albert Hall in Jan 2020.
Famous for the entire audience saying “A flower?” At the appropriate moment!
As we did on Tuesday night too!

meat loaf sadly passed away today, rock , drama, opera, absolute entertainment ! 100 million albums sold worldwide , i bet theres been some radios turned up today. i remember atv show years ago when his albums had been in the charts for years and elvis costello questioned where are all these ml fans , i look back and think elvis fing who! RIP meat.

This was played on Zoe ball breakfast show this morning and indeed I did turn the volume up brought back memories of YFC discos
Some really nice 70’s sounding dance about recently this is a cracker


last year they played Fleetwood Mac dreams on radio 1 sounded amazing a few of their tunes sound great still

well we have had 2 hrs of it and ive just discovered what she was listening to while perfecting her culinary skills back in the day, she knows more meat loaf tunes than me! we love meat loaf as does eldist son and his kids aged 9 & 11 it must be hereditary.
