How did this happen I didn't think I have ever clicked on receive email alerts? From replying or starting a thread.

I think it is an auto setting,or, it could have if you have only just started receiving them have occurred after the downtime last week, I did notice you are still using the old style forum too, you really could do with updating to the TFF responsive version.

Just found this thread, as it appears @llamedos is no longer with us, does anyone know how to switch off the email alerts? A Member or staff member?
Hopefully this will solve your problem. If you click on your username at the top right of the screen, this will dropdown a list of menus relating to your profile. Click 'Preferences'. In the options section of the Preferences menu the 2nd box down labelled 'and receive email notifications of replies' needs changing from ticked to unticked. This should stop emails relating to alerts but won't stop emails such as TFF weekly news etc. If that doesn't work let me know. (y)
