Not had this issue before. Tups went in 7th November, so 140 days today if caught on first day.
She was just lying down and panting, and still doing that now. Vet gave IV glucose day before yesterday, I've been giving 100ml propylene glycol split in 3x30 (40kg ewe), but vet said to step down to 1x50ml. Ewe perked up a bit yesterday after IV, and would walk a little, but refusing to eat or drink throughout. Have tried ivy, grass, haylage, cleavers, nuts. Today she's refusing to stand up, have her outside in garden in the warmth and with the best grass on the farm.
I just wanted to see if there is anything else I can do. I have been trying to give her water via syringe or beer bottle with electrolyte solution in it to keep her hydrated. But she doesn't like it much and I'm concerned I will get some in lungs.
She is scanned with twins. Going to get steroids for the ewe from the vet, and this may induce lambing. I suspect she is considerably less than 140 days unfortunately so lambs probably not viable. The ewe doesn't have a temperature and she is thin.
