if thhey work the same as on a tx60 then there is a electric actuator at the front that moves them. Try unplugging it and running a wire from the battery direct just to see is the actuator is working. Had to put a new motor in the actuator on my tx65 once.

Yes supposed to be self levelling under combine you will see a metal box and a electric ram if you drive combine on to a slope so it tilts to one side put threshing in and sieves should level up, if not there is a box and electric ram under sieves check that out....

Need to have the threshing mechanism engaged to level sieves, if the combine has been stopped on a slope the sieves will not be sitting level.
There are relays in a box underneath at the front of the grain pan that can fail.
As mentioned the easiest way to check the actuator is by hooking it directly to a 12v battery and seeing if it moves.
We had a length of inch box with a hole in each end that could replace the actuator and run the sieves level.

There are two amber lights on the panel in the cab - these illuminate when the actuator is working (ie they come on briefly when you are on a slope when the system is making an adjustment)
No lights suggests a fault in the level switch
Lights but no movement suggests an actuator fault

I would back up the comments about shaker shoe bearings and rubber bushes - any play can cause the shaker shoe to crack or even break completely

Thanks for the reply
The lights are not on the panel at all

Nobody yet has mentioned that there are 4 relays in the levelling box in front of the fan housing. NH recommended that these relays should be changed annually. Nobody ever does!
Mine stopped working on a TF 42 and I replaced all 4 relays, which cured it for the next 5 years until I sold it.

This system was IMO far more reliable than the system that was used on a TF 78 Electra. Which relied on transistors and diodes in the sealed electronic box to the rhs of the cab. Some days it worked, others it took a holiday!
I eventually built a manual override to adjust it myself on the days it decided were its holidays. I soon noticed that it was always the hottest days of harvest, when everybody else was on Holiday.

Don’t mean to be a

where exactly are these bearings ? Have you a picture ?
Ours self destructed a few years ago, dealer replaced them, one each side, and put in a grease nipple, might be able to see it in the picture, and of course all the rubber bushes

I think you will have to take it out the shed, run it up and drive over a brick and see if it works, the lights will flash when it moves.
The fact it is not sitting level at the moment though on level ground is the concern ? Surely it won’t level if I put it on an angle

My point is it should move (light flash) and move again as you roll off it, easiest check before dismantling anything.

I had an issue with one on a new combine, it was simply the earth wire post nut wasnt tightened.
