I’ve just read there is a £2400 grant available for any retrofitted CTIS
What were you quoted for a system complete ?I’ve just read there is a £2400 grant available for any retrofitted CTIS
Hi Pete, is the tyre system getting a signal to say there is air in the tanks. Won't work if it hasn't, I think its designed so not to empty the tanks filling the tyres up. CheersThat’s what I thought, but those valves do need a fancy controller.
I am getting four blocks machined at the moment. They will channel the air in and out of the tyre, making the connection between the axle and the tyre valve. There will be no valve or any moving parts contained within them, they are just to replace the original valves. There will be a manually operated ball valve between each of them and the valve on the wheel rim so I can fully isolate the whole system, making it very safe.
That manual element won’t suit everyone but will be fine for my situation.
I wish they would rather than through tractairAm I the only one that gets a feeling someone is going to start selling these tyre inflation systems soon?
I noticed larringtons had introduced a CTI system, no idea on details.
Could a capable, technically minded person not make one up from parts?
Sure he'll do a fantastic job.@Cab-over Pete is giving it a go.....
Nope, just sharing useful information to our fantastic audience! It kind of made sense to add it into an existing thread.Am I the only one that gets a feeling someone is going to start selling these tyre inflation systems soon?
