I’d give one these a go for your coupling they are less than £10 and I’m sure there’s a Dutch bloke in practical farm ideas that’s used them to build a system
Just had a look at these online, even the one for £95 it says this in the description ”They are not suitable for fast and continuous rotations.”🤷‍♂️

We were shown this concept today by a French lady who works for a wheel manufacturer, the wheel centre is an air tank that is filled by the air brake compressor whilst you are working in the field etc, and then when you decide to inflate to go on the road it will inflate your tyres in approx 6 seconds to your road pressure. It can be controlled by a small stand alone control box or via isobus.

That’s neat. I like that.

Problem with mine…..

I’ve been wondering if the system on the Zetros fully pressurises the inside of the axle (there appears to be no breather) or is piped to the hub and then directed out through it.

Unless a pipe has come adrift within the axle, then I think the whole axle is pressurised, because the air pressure pushed the main front seal out the other week from around the prop shaft. Oil everywhere.

I tapped the seal back in again and it doesn’t leak, but I don’t want it happening again so doubt I will use it again. Especially as it seems the tyres I have aren’t going to put up with
low-ish pressure running. Even though the data book says they can, the bead has started to deteriorate already.

Rightly or wrongly I’ve ordered it on a fendt .
I do think it will be something that is quite standard in the future? When you’re trying to get the most out of the tractor and work over a good few miles , the savings in fuel , wear should hopefully help and the resale value will pay some back .
time will tell

I know it sounds silly but it was something I wanted on ,from memory it was £6-8k I’d have to dig deeper to find out .
From what I want the tractor to do I felt it was going to give it a better chance and I’ll be keeping this one a long time . Whatever it was it’s cheaper from the factory

I am just about to order a 939 with it also. Got it for a very good discount from retail price on it. This tractor will hopefully be staying with me for a while also so want I get it right from the start.

And how fast can you refill 2 x 650/65-30.5, I was looking but couldn't find any videos of it with tractor air compresor. This is preaty slow proces as far as i know.
